ولا يتحمل كبار السن ظروف الحرب والنزوح القاسية وما يحمله من أعباء نفسية وصحية، حيث تمتلئ صفحات مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي المحلية، بأخبار وفيات كبار السن بين أهالي عفرين، إذ سجل على سبيل المثال وفاة حنيفة طرموش في بلدة مسكة وذلك بعد ٣ أيام فقط من وفاة زوجها عبد الرحمن طرموش من أهالي قرية #كفرصفرة التابعة لناحية #جنديرس.
وفي حالة شبيهة توفيت فريده ناصرو بعد ساعات من وفاة زوجها محمد جيرو في قرية كاخري عن عمر ناهز ٧٥ عاماً وغيرها العديد من الوفيات بين المسنين.
